The problem became visible working closely with a New York-based ocean import forwarder. They ran a full back-office operation: 200 to 500 active jobs across ocean import and trucking at any given time, multiple overseas agents, a licensed broker for CBP submissions, and a small team keeping all of it organized through Outlook and their TMS. The process worked. It just consumed hours a day on data entry that a computer should be able to do. TIO started as the answer to that, and the agents grew out of the real work.

Run each agent with a person approving every record, or let it act on its own once you trust it. You choose per agent. Customs filing always keeps a human filer of record.

The product is designed around the person doing the filing and the entry, not a boardroom dashboard. It fits the way the work already happens.
Prompt injection is a compliance risk
External email and document text is data, never instructions. Every agent that reads outside content runs a defense layer before it produces anything.
A founder inside the operation, not above it.
TIO is built by Ridge, its founder, who works inside the daily operation of the forwarder the agents run at: the same inbox, the same filings, the same deadlines the product exists to serve. Every agent behavior comes from a real correction on a real shipment, not a product spec written at a distance. Ridge writes the posts on the blog, and the operating figures on this site come from that production deployment, consented and unembellished.
