What is TIO.
TIO gives freight forwarders and freight brokerages AI agents that do the back-office work and take it to a finished record. It sits between your inbox and your TMS, and does not replace either.

In short
A document lands in your inbox. The agent for that job reads it and prepares the record, the quote or the lot. Each action has its own setting: it runs on its own, goes to your team for review, or waits for a person’s reply. The record writes to your TMS through an adapter built for it. Anything outside your rules goes to a person.
What the agents do
- Read the inbox · work reaches the agents by email, through Outlook or Gmail. Your mail system sends a copy to the agent. TIO does not sign in to your mailbox.
- Read the documents · worksheets, bills of lading, house bills and invoices.
- Do the job · the agent takes the work to a finished result: the quote, the lot in the TMS, the payable lines matched to the job.
- Review or run · depending on the action’s setting, a person on your team reviews the record, or the agent acts on its own inside your rules. Corrections take seconds. TIO turns a correction into a rule for your operation, and writes the rule with you.
- Write to the TMS · the agent writes through the adapter built for your TMS, subject to the configured action permission. The agent write-event journal is protected from application edits and deletion.
What TIO does not do
- It does not file a customs entry or submit a security filing. A person on your team files.
- It does not manage a carrier fleet or dispatch drivers, run a warehouse management system, book air or ocean space with a carrier, or pay a vendor.
- It does not replace your TMS. Your TMS stays the system of record, and your lots live there.
- It is not a licensed customs broker. Filing liability stays with your filer of record.
Ask about a shipment
Your staff can ask the Ops Agent about a load by email and get the status, the details and the bill of lading or proof of delivery back. The Ops Agent reads the records. It does not change an order.
